If the 'Available Updates' is grayed out, it means that your vehicle is either not eligible for MapCare or there is not an update available yet. You should be able to open the Gen 2 Toolbox that you downloaded from after entering your year, make and model (Make sure that 'Gen2 is displayed in the top left hand corner). It is possible that there is a new map update available for your 2016/2016 Subaru Vehicle.

(I did do a cursory search of Forum without much luck, but if any of these questions have already been answered, references to the relevant posts would be sufficient.) I'd be very grateful for some facts and/or guidance on how to proceed. I presume many have encountered most of these issues before. Can anyone fill me in on what can or cannot be done?Ġ) On the Navigation panel in the car, there appears to be no way to determine the installed version of the maps (although I can apparently do this using Subaru Toolbox on my computer). I'm having trouble getting the latest (my first) map update (North America, American English) for my new Outback Limited 2016 2.5 l through FireFox on Windows 7 SP1.
